ATTENTION website owners who use WordPress

Today, clients on our lambda server running WordPress 3.2.1 and earlier were targeted by a low-level hack which injected advertisement SQL through a WordPress vulnerability. This vulnerability was fixed in WordPress’ software’s latest version. Website owners running the current version of WordPress were not affected.

Remember, it is very important to keep your installations updated. We recommend that you inspect your website for anything unusual and send us a Support Request in your Client Portal if you have been affected.

Thought PhireFast does not provide technical support for third-party applications, we will be happy to restore your website to pre-incident date. You may then upgrade your WordPress installation, which will close the vulnerability in the future.
