How do I set up and use SpamAssassin?
SpamAssassin is an extremely powerful Spam control application which PhireFast offers. Like most powerful applications, it needs to be configured properly. Luckily, SpamAssassin is quite simple to activate and configure, so this shouldn't take too long.

NOTE: Settings in this area will affect EVERY email account on your domain, addon domains and parked domains. If you are a reseller, this will only affect your account and not any of your other accounts.

1) Log in to your cPanel.
2) Click on "SpamAssassin", which can be found in the second row of icons in cPanel.
3) Click the "Enable SpamAssassin" button to activate it. Once that's done, click 'Go Back' to return to the SpamAssassin configuration page.

- Spam Auto Delete
You can now decide whether you want messages identified as spam to be automatically deleted or not. If you decide for them not to be automatically deleted, the message will arrive in your inbox as a regular message, but with ***SPAM*** in the beginning of the subject heading for easy identification.

- Spam Box
The description of this feature is "SpamBox will deliver any emails identified as spam by SpamAssassin into a separate mail folder named "spam". This "spam" folder will fill up and should be emptied regularly." This means that for users using IMAP type email with PhireFast (as opposed to POP3 email) will have a special folder created in each email account automatically by selecting this feature. This folder will be named "Spam" or "Junk" depending on your email client. You can choose to keep this feature disabled, or you can enable it.

- SpamAssassin™ Configuration
By clicking this option, you will be able to modify more advanced aspects of SpamAssassin such as custom spam identification scoring and rules, such as blacklist and whitelist preferences.
