- Easy Migration
PhireFast's system has the ability to automatically transfer all of your data from the following types of hosting control panels:

- Complex Migration
PhireFast migrates several websites per week from other web hosting companies. Our Support Team follows a simple procedure which will result in a seamless migration. In this scenario, we'll simulate having a Content Management System on the hosting account we are migrating data from.
1) Download content management system and other files to a local machine.
2) Create an export/dump of the mysql database at the old web host.
3) Upload the content management system and other files to the new account at PhireFast.
4) Create a new mysql database and database user on the new PhireFast account.
5) Configure the content management system to work with the new database.
6) Preview the new account with PhireFast at http://phirefast.server.ip/~username (NOTE: Replace "phirefast.server.ip" with the server IP, and replace "username" with the username we issued you in your web hosting order. Now you can see a "sandbox" preview of your website on PhireFast and make sure everything functions as it should.
7) Switch your domain name's DNS servers, by logging in to your domain registrar's control panel.
